Solar Control Window Film After Care Instructions

 

DURING THE FIRST DAYS AND WEEKS FOLLOWING FITMENT:
It can take up to 4 weeks for the film to bond securely to the glass depending on environmental conditions. During this time, you may see moisture from the installation which can make windows seem hazy – please do not be alarmed as these will disappear once the curing time has fully elapsed.

Wait approximately 1-5 days after installation before rolling down or cleaning your windows based on the climate in which it was installed.

 

GENERAL AFTERCARE:
For tinted glass use CovrGard GLAS for the cleanest finish. Clean with mild detergent and water or a non-ammonia automotive glass cleaner using a clean, soft microfibre cloth to prevent scratches. Avoid the use of abrasive materials such as scouring pads, to clean your tinted windows. Do not apply any stickers or suction cups to windows treated with window film.

Utmost care should be taken to ensure the cleanliness of all surfaces prior to the application of the window film and all installations should be carried out by a trained installer.
